Sophie Bag in Black — Small Leather Crossbody Bag

Sophie is a small black leather crossbody bag shaped like a miniature box on a slender adjustable strap. It is a bag for the days when only the essentials come along and your hands want to stay free. Smooth black calfskin and a small gold-tone emblem on the flap make it graphic and quiet at once. Black Sophie goes with a trench and jeans by day and a silk slip dress at dinner. What fits in this mini crossbody bag

A card holder, keys, lipstick and earbuds — enough for an evening or a walk. A large smartphone may not fit, so Sophie is about leaving the extras at home. The strap adjusts from 60 to 126 cm (23.6 to 49.6 in): short on the shoulder as an evening bag, or long across the body as a leather crossbody purse.

Care for smooth leather

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, keep it out of the rain and long hours of direct sun, and condition every few months with a colorless leather cream. Store it in its dust bag with a little tissue paper inside so the box shape holds.

Where it's made

Sophie is made in POELLE's own atelier in the Lviv region of Ukraine, from the first cut to the last stitch. POELLE is a Ukrainian handbag brand working in genuine leather and suede.
